Product Description
The Piezo-Electric Respiration (PZT) Sensor from biosignalsplux is a device designed to measure respiratory-induced movement in the chest or abdominal region. Utilizing piezoelectric film technology, the sensor detects mechanical stretching caused by inhalation and exhalation and outputs an analog signal for further processing.
The sensor is integrated into an adjustable elastic chest belt that can be comfortably positioned around the thoracic or abdominal area. It is ideal for monitoring respiratory activity in daily use or research applications, such as breathing pattern analysis, respiration rate monitoring, or relative motion assessment.
This sensor is pre-conditioned and ready to use with compatible biosignalsplux or BITalino data acquisition systems. It provides a non-invasive, mobile solution for technical and experimental data collection scenarios involving respiratory analysis.
