Biostrap EVO is compatible with all Biostrap accessories (activity pod, HRMs and apps).
Useful information about operation, battery, Bluetooth, Android and IOS.
Before you can use your Biostrap device, you must connect it to your Biostrap account and a phone or tablet. When you connect your device, you can transfer (or sync) data back and forth with your Biostrap.
Battery: check the remaining battery charge.
- It's easy to keep your Biostrap devices charged!
- We recommend charging your device daily and keeping the battery above 20% at all times.
- You can check the battery status of your devices at any time on the settings page in the Biostrap app.
With normal use, you can expect the following:
- 1-2 days of use with your Biostrap EVO. It is completely normal for the device to stop charging before it reaches 100% and settle between 90-99%.
Bluetooth: If you have problems with the connection, try the following steps!
- Android users: make sure location services are enabled before trying to connect your devices.
- Place the device on the charging dock.
- Wait a few minutes for the battery to charge (orange light).
- Go back to the Biostrap app and check that your devices are connected
- Turn on the Bluetooth
- iOS users: go to the iPhone's settings.
- Click on Bluetooth
- Turn it OFF
- Turn it ON now
- Go back to the Biostrap app and check if your devices are connecting.
If still not connecting, then quit the Biostrap app completely and restart it. Then see if your devices are connected.
Alternatively, you can try the following: turn off Bluetooth on your phone, turn off your phone, turn your phone back on, turn Bluetooth back on. Go back to the Biostrap app and check if your devices are connected.
