The 3 components in Detail:

The Biostrap EVO is a sleep tracker and at the same time a vitality tracker in the form of a bracelet. The results are recorded and analyzed. They can be viewed at any time via the Biostrap app - the sleep app/ fitness app/ vitality app - . In this way, Biostrap EVO provides with individual and actionable insights into the personal sleep and vitality.

The Activity Pod is a motion analysis device. The fitness tracker is an add-on from Biostrap and is conveniently attached to the shoe so that all movement data is recorded for a comprehensive movement analysis. The results can also be viewed via the Biostrap app - the fitness app/ sleep app/ vitality app.

The chest strap/bracelet incl. HRM meter. The chest strap/bracelet enables an accurate analysis of heart vitality. It accurately measures heart rate, heart rate variability and calories burned. When purchasing, choose one of the two possible variants (chest strap or bracelet).

**The person's baseline is adjusted if more data are collected. It takes at least 5 days to determine them, but we will collect data for 5-30 days to compare historical averages with today's values.

Biostrap App - Functional notes for Users

Operation, Battery, Bluetooth, Android and IOS.

Before using the Biostrap device, users must connect it to the Biostrap account and a phone or tablet. Once the device is connected, data can be synced with the Biostrap sleep tracker.

Battery: checking the remaining battery charge.

It is easy to keep the Biostrap devices charged.
We recommend charging the device daily and keeping the battery above 20% at all times
Users can check the battery status of the devices at any time on the settings page in the Biostrap app.

With normal use, users can expect the following:

1-2 days of use with the Biostrap EVO. It is completely normal for the device to stop charging before it reaches 100% and settle between 90-99%.

Bluetooth: If users are having trouble connecting, we recommend the following steps!

Android users:

Please make sure location services are enabled before connecting the device.
Place the device on the charging cradle
Wait a few minutes for the battery to charge (orange light).
Return to the Biostrap app and verify that the devices are connected
Turn on Bluetooth

IOS users:

Please go to the iPhone settings.
Click on Bluetooth
Turn off Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth back on
Go back to the Biostrap app and check if the devices are connected.

If still no connection is established, then quit and restart the Biostrap app completely and check if the devices are connected.

Alternatively, users can try the following: Turn off Bluetooth on the smartphone, then turn off the phone and turn it back on, and subsequently re-enable Bluetooth.

Return to the Biostrap app and check if the devices are connected.

Biostrap Evo - The sleep tracker, health tracker, fitness tracker - product instructions for use and commissioning:
Best suited for monitoring sleep, rest and meditation.

Initial Charging:

Make sure to charge your Biostrap EVO before pairing it with the Biostrap app and using it for the first time. Your Biostrap EVO should be at least 50% charged before you go to bed and start recording your sleep. The light on the charger will glow white/blue when it is connected to the mains. You can charge your EVO in the harness or alone. When you place the device on the charger, the white/blue light turns orange, indicating that the device is charging. The lights will flash or remain white/blue if the device is not charging properly or if it is not placed on the charger properly.

Download the Biostrap app from either the App Store for iOS or the Play Store for Android.

Create your Biostrap profile and pair your Evo:

To create your account, turn on your phone's Bluetooth, open the Biostrap app, and select "Create Account". Select which set you purchased, then enter your full name, email address, and desired Password. Follow the instructions and answer the questions on the screen.

Pair your EVO Biostrap:

To pair your EVO, select "Locate Nearby Devices" and wait for your phone to find the Biostrap. When pairing is complete, the red light on the Biostrap EVO sensor will flash a few times to confirm that pairing was successful.

Recording your sleep:

Make sure your wristband is at least 50% charged before you go to bed. The Biostrap can automatically detect when you fall asleep and wake up. However, you can also start and stop recording manually. To manually record your sleep, select "Record" at the bottom of the main dashboard, then "Record" under Sleep. After waking up, open the Biostrap app, tap "Record" at the bottom, and then tap the pink stop button in the upper right corner. Now take off your wristband and let it sync with your phone. Leave your phone next to your device while it syncs - this is the ideal time to charge your Biostrap. After your data is synced, it will be processed on our servers, and once the processing is complete, your sleep score will be determined. After 5 nights of data collection, your recovery score will also be unlocked.

How to wear the Biostrap Evo correctly

To get reliable data readings from your wrist, make sure you wear the Biostrap device on your wrist properly. Wear the device on top of your wrist. For best results, the back of the device should be in contact with your skin for functions such as heart rate measurement. Make sure your wristband is not too tight. Wear it loosely enough to allow it to move back and forth on your wrist. Wear the Biostrap device on the top of your wrist, at least one finger width above your wrist bone.

Remove the device periodically to allow your skin to breathe. If you feel discomfort or irritation, loosen the band, and if this continues, give your wrist a break by taking it off for a longer period of time.

Periodically clean your band with a soap-free cleanser (like Cetaphil) or an alcohol wipe. If your device is wet or sweaty, take it off after your activity and dry it completely. (See video for more information).
