Product description

The Nonin Xpod is a precise and energy-efficient pulse oximetry solution that can be easily integrated into existing systems. Designed for connection to the Equivital LifeMonitor, the Xpod enables the recording and transmission of important parameters such as blood oxygen saturation. In addition, it provides photoplethysmography (PPG) waveforms that can support a detailed analysis of cardiovascular activity.

Nonin Xpod applications:

• Heart rate measurement: The regular cycles of the PPG waveform make it easy to determine the heart rate.
• Blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂): Special PPG sensors that are based on different wavelengths of light can also measure the oxygen content in the blood, which is used in pulse oximeters.
• Blood pressure monitoring: Changes in the PPG waveform can indicate changes in blood pressure, particularly in the analysis of secondary waves and the rise in the waveform.
