Myontec MBody3 - Kit is an EMG shirt sportswear for upper body muscles
Description of the Upper Body Kit:
With the MShirt and the MCell3 it is possible to measure the training data of the forearm muscles, biceps and triceps.
The measurement is performed with:
- 8 channel EMG and an IMU measurement to determine the flexion position
- An IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) is a spatial combination of several inertial sensors such as accelerometers and gyroscopes. It is the sensory measurement unit of an inertial navigation system).
- The data can be analysed using the free MBody Live 3 app.

MBody is a comprehensive sports tool. MBody 3 analyses what happens in the muscles during training, which muscle groups are working correctly in the correct activation sequence or whether there are imbalances that can be harmful or lead to injury.
MBody 3 is the leading wearable performance analysis technology that takes EMG (electromyography, the electrical activity of muscle tissue) out of the lab and into the hands of professional athletes, sports teams, coaches, trainers and physiotherapists. This provides direct access to a new and deeper level of understanding of muscle behaviour. This understanding creates more transparency towards performance-optimised and injury-reduced movement patterns.
Once the MCell3 has been removed from the MShirt, the MShirt can be machine washed at 30°C.
