The OMRON HEM-907 is an upper arm blood pressure and pulse monitor with IntelliSense technology. It is suitable for use in medical facilities such as doctors' surgeries, hospitals and clinics. The device offers automatic and manual readings as well as an average reading mode based on three consecutive readings. It has quiet operation for use in hospital wards. The large LCD display shows systolic and diastolic values as well as heart rate. It can calculate averages, combine two to three readings and detect abnormalities that may require further investigation.

The OMRON HEM-907 allows interval measurements with adjustable intervals. It has a setting button to deactivate the display for a realistic blood pressure reading to reduce the tension of the user being measured. IntelliSense technology reduces cuff inflation pressure, which can be helpful for users with sensitive connective tissue.

How to clean the device and the cuff?

Clean the blood pressure monitor, the cuff and the cables using a cloth dampened with water, diluted disinfectant alcohol or diluted mild detergent.
To disinfect, wipe the unit with a soft cloth squeezed well after moistened with the following disinfectant:

Benzalkonium chloride 0.01 - 0.2 w/v%
Chlorhexizin 0.05 - 0.5 w/v%
Amphoteric surface active agent 0.01 - 0.2 w/v%

When cleaning or disinfecting the unit, do not wipe the AC adapter. Then wipe the unit with a soft dry cloth.

What is the battery life?

You can use the unit for approximately three hundred measurements. Approximate battery life is two years.
