Dyslexia-Training

Dyslexia Training is an innovative method for helping people with dyslexia, a reading and spelling disorder. This technique uses neurofeedback or neurostimulation, among other techniques, to regulate brain activity and target specific neural patterns associated with learning difficulties.

In neurofeedback training, electrodes are placed on the scalp during training to monitor brain activity, and the person with dyslexia receives visual or auditory feedback when the brain is functioning in a way that is conducive to reading and writing. To this end, highly targeted training software has been developed to improve neural connectivity, strengthen reading and spelling skills, and increase self-efficacy and confidence. The effectiveness of neurofeedback in treating dyslexia is still the subject of ongoing research, but there are promising results that suggest it may be a valuable adjunct to traditional approaches for some individuals.
