The 3 in 1 TENS unit TT 205 from Medisana offers a combination of TENS, EMS and massage.

TENS

TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation and is an electro-medical stimulation current treatment that can be used to stimulate muscles. The Medisana TT 205 TENS unit enables TENS treatment of 10 body parts: neck, shoulder, arm, hand, back, abdomen, hip, leg and foot. There is also a choice of 3 massage programmes (kneading, rubbing and tapping) for all parts of the body.

A total of 22 pre-programmes with adjustable durations from 5 to 90 minutes ensure optimum muscle stimulation. The stimulation current treatment can help improve muscle strength, endurance and flexibility.

EMS stands for electromyostimulation and describes a form of training in which muscles are stimulated. The Medisana TT 205 Tens provides EMS stimulation for 9 parts of the body (neck, shoulder, arm, hand, back, abdomen, hip, leg and foot).

The EMS application can help improve muscle strength, muscle endurance and muscle flexibility. It can also be used to prevent muscle wasting.
