Biosignalsplux Hybrid-8 Basic System - additional sensors selectable
The Biosignalsplux Hybrid-8 Basic System has been developed with a focus on research and enables biosignal data acquisition where the acquisition of sensor data from multiple analogue and digital sensors is required. This basic system can be expanded with sensors from the growing portfolio of digital sensor solutions. This provides a versatile and customisable sensor system for potential research applications.
The new hybrid port supports both analogue and digital sensors and is a good solution for multi-FNIRS setups where the acquisition of additional biosignal data (e.g. ECG, EDA, EMG) may be required. Synchronous data acquisition is supported for up to 8 sensors simultaneously, sampling analogue sensors at up to 3 kHz and 16 bit resolution, and digital sensors at up to 24 bit resolution.
In addition to the new dual Bluetooth module, which supports communication via standard Bluetooth (Windows, MacOS, Linux and Android) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) (iOS), the internal 32 GB memory enables offline data acquisition. The system provides many tools for reliable real-time online data acquisition and offline acquisition setups on major platforms, including:
- OpenSignals (r)evolution (Windows, MacOS and Linux)
- OpenSignals Mobile (Android)
- Cross-platform application programming interfaces (APIs) (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android)
- Swift API for developing biosignal applications on iOS
This base system comes with a Set of OpenSignals (r)evolution software add-ons, which provide both real-time and post-processing algorithms to extract important and meaningful information from sensor data.
