Founded in 2007, PLUX – Wireless Biosignals S.A., based in Portugal, specializes in the development and production of innovative solutions for the acquisition and analysis of biosignals. The company provides modular system platforms with wearable sensors for applications in science, education and research. The product portfolio includes sensors for electromyography (EMG), electrocardiography (ECG), respiration, acceleration and other biometric signals.
PLUX develops both user-friendly educational systems such as BITalino and high-precision research systems such as biosignalsplux. The portfolio is complemented by dedicated software solutions such as OpenSignals and Biosignals Studio, as well as flexible APIs for integration into applications under Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
More than 900 research institutions in over 80 countries worldwide use PLUX products. The systems are available in more than 30 countries through an international distribution network. Partners include renowned organizations such as MIT, Stanford University, Siemens, Volkswagen, NASA and Microsoft.
