The piezoelectric respiration sensor (PZT sensor) from biosignalsplux offers an efficient and cost-effective solution for recording basic respiratory data. The system consists of an elastic chest strap with an integrated piezoelectric sensor. This sensor measures the displacements that occur during breathing cycles (inhalation/exhalation) due to volume changes in the chest or abdominal cavity.

The chest strap is adjustable in length to support different body anatomies, genders, and body regions (e.g., chest or abdomen). Typical applications include monitoring breathing cycles, rates, relative amplitudes, and other features.

Compatibility: The sensor supports both BITalino and biosignalsplux systems, making it flexible for a range of applications.
