Description of the Software:
The Force Platform Add-on for OpenSignals (r)evolution software is designed to extract key force parameters from biosignalsplux Force Platform recordings, including real-time visualisation of the centre of gravity, applied force and mass on the platform.
Furthermore, in post-acquisition mode, this add-on calculates the maximum applied force within a defined signal interval, the force production rate (FPR in N/s) and jump analysis-specific parameters such as the jump height (in cm) and the flight time (time spent in the air during a jump).
This add-on can be used in a variety of research applications. Biomechanics, sports and ergonomics are just a few examples of applications where centre of gravity displacement, jump analysis, weight determination and/or force production are monitored.

The Force Platform add-on extracts the following parameters online (real-time) and offline (post-processing). The centre of gravity (CoG) is visualised in real time during signal acquisition and highlighted as a blue dot on the force platform displayed in the add-on.
