The BodyCap e-Celsius Performance Starter Kit with software is a core body temperature monitoring system. The system is suitable for use in sports, research and occupational safety. The set contains all the necessary components for monitoring core body temperature, consisting of the e-Celsius Performance Radio frequency (RF) measuring capsules, the eCelsius Activator Kit and the eViewer Performance Monitor, supplemented by PC/MAC interface software.

The starter kit enables core body temperature to be measured over a period of 24 - 48 hours, depending on the transit time of the Radio frequency (RF) measuring capsule through the digestive tract. The deviation from core body temperature in the range of 25 - 45 °C is ± 0.2 °C with a variability of ± 0.1 °C. The data sent by the Radio frequency (RF) measuring capsule is read out by the eViewer Performance Monitor and is available in a data history for further processing (CSV).
